Mad Foot presents the official boot

While much of the 2008 fall/winter collection’s October releases from Mad Foot! include some rather gaudy designs with Nike Zvezdochka-esque Mad Daaam 1s and liberally decorated snakeskin Mad Witness Los, there is a light at the end of the tunnel as the releases are offset by three versions of the Mad Lander. The hiking boot derivative features solid leather uppers with the matching of tonal snakeskin materials which should be almost entirely covered up by your pants anyways. Look for these to release at select retailers next month.

Fruition Clothing

Las Vegas’ Fruition has become a leading provider of vintage and retro apparel and involved themselves with a series of big-time collaborations, most recently teaming up with Stussy in a special installation. Their latest release under the Boutique’s own label is this simple Dual FF logo’d t-shirt. Four different colorways are available including some bolder metallic prints. Wu tang x Fila boots

As no strangers to each other, Wu-Tang Clan and Fila continue their collaborative efforts this time on the upcoming boots seen here. The two-tone boot includes the iconic Wu logo as well as all-weather treatment for the elements. Other details include hip-hop’s most popular acronym CREAM on the tongue and wrap around lacing. Air Force Jordan 20

The hybrid project featuring the Air Jordan and the Air Force 1 continues with the latest upcoming release featuring the Air Jordan Force 20. The familiar laser treatment is evident on the side panels as well as the same ridge design on the heel among other similar characteristics. Both a high-top and low-top version will be available as the low-top releases first on October 11th and the high later on in December on the 20th.

Never shying away from using diverse textiles, New York based ALIFE, give us a look at the newly released corduroy pack. Providing something for every style within their 2008 fall lineup, all three colorways coming in a brown, tan, and red upper featuring solid charcoal midsoles, extra laces and lining. lupe album certified Gold

In the latest digital age, nobody needs to tell you that music sales are dwindling which makes Lupe Fiasco’s sophomore album “Lupe Fiasco’s The Cool” and its official certification for gold in the United States all the more impressive. We were more then surprised when this display landed on our door-step as an homage to Fiasco’s feat of selling over 500,000 copies. The impressive piece features a detailed image of the Chicago-native alongside both a golden LP and the monumental CD. A descriptive panel outlines the achievement and the special RIAA designation. A big congratulations and thanks to Lupe Fiasco and his team.

Flying Coffin Fall 2008

Flying Coffin has unveiled their entire 2008 fall/winter collection on the heels of some personal favorites a few days ago. Their strong graphic imagery is replicated in addition to some FC branded tees and fitted caps. Check your local Flying Coffin stockist for availability.

Crooks&Castles Sept. Drops

For the 2008 September releases, Crooks puts out a healthy dose of gear to keep the faithful fitted. Along with the usual logo crew and hoody, we get a couple of flannels in a teal and gucci-esque colorway. New to the lineup are a set of caps featuring gun motifs, topped off by their own take on a patterned M-65 field jacket. Certainly some strong items from Crooks & Castles. Air Jordan Countdown Pack/XX2

Next up for the latter part of this month from Jordan Brand is their continuation of the Collezione (which I’ve heard few if any use) packs as they re-visit the distant Air Jordan I and the most recent offering within the entire collection, the XX2. These upcoming releases are restricted to black and white without the usual dash of iconic Bulls red. Look for these to release this upcoming weekend, Saturday, September 20th at select Jordan accounts

Kaws x nike Air max 90

As an leading participant of Nike’s 1World program, it comes as no surprise KAWS work with Nike goes beyond his Air Force 1 to also include this little known Air Max 90 sample. Information regarding its release is sparse but features some nice detailing such as the “x” style stitching on the toebox with the use of neon stitches to reference KAWS’ iconic imagery which can also be seen on the lacelocks. No word yet on availability.
